       Emily Rollins Morrissey passed away at home peacefully March 18, 2018      surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Lake City, South        Carolina, Emily and her husbandFrank have called St. Marys, Georgia     home for the past 15 years.

        Emily was preceded in death by her father, William G. Rollins, and    mother, Anne G. Rollins. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Frank   D. Morrissey of St. Marys, Georgia; daughter, Fran Skipper (Phillip), and son, Bo Morrissey (Molly) of Franklin, Tennessee; sister, Susan Herndon (Warren) of Lexington, South Carolina.  She leaves behind four beautiful grandchildren who affectionately called her Meme; Lucy and Reynolds Skipper and Blakely and Libby Morrissey. Also surviving are her brothers and sister-in-law, John, Patrick, Michael, and Angie Morrissey.

    Emily graduated in education from The College of Charleston and was a member of the Tri Delta sorority. She received a Masters degree in speech pathology. Over the years she helped hundreds of children through speech therapy and had a passion and life long commitment to education. Emily will be remembered for being a great servant to her church and community through Stephen Ministry, singing in the church choir, and treating everyone she met with a loving heart.

    A memorial service was  held at First Presbyterian Church in St. Marys, Georgia on March 21, 2018. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.

    Information and materials for the Spring 2018 nomination and election of three owner directors to serve on the OCOA Board are now available to OCOA property owners on the this website at:  https://www.ospreycove.org/Governing-Documents-of-the-OCOA/  Materials include the memo from the Nominating Committee; Roles and Responsibilities of OCOA Directors; the Intent to be a Candidate Form; and the nomination/election timeline.

    Complete nomination materials must be submitted and received by 4:00pm on Friday March 23, 2018.  No materials will be accepted after this date/time.

    The final meetings in the series addressing the OCOA transition process are scheduled for Saturday March 10th at 10-11:30 am and 12:30-2:00pm.  These sessions are held at the River Club and open to all residents. Seated is limited to about 50 attendees.
